The Invisible Library tells the story of a spy (Irene) who gathers fiction from different realms and universes. Along with her new assistant Kai she is sent to another London to retrieve a mysterious book. However, when they arrive they find that the book has been stolen. Irene and Kai must travel on a dangerous mission to find the book that they are trying to seek.
This book was really well written if you are one for a sci-fi series. It had many plot twists and great character development throughout the book.
If you don’t like sci-fi or loads of plot twists then this isn’t the book for you.
The Series Of Unfortunate Events tells the tale of the three Baudelaire siblings whose parents die in a mysterious fire. Their guardian a banker called Mr Poe has to find them various foster parents that mysterious die or disappear. The reason for this is a mysterious guardian who wants the fortune the Baudelaire siblings got from their dead parents.
This story had a really good plot. It had many plot twists that were really suspenseful. The writing was very descriptive and you got to know the character really well by the end of the series.
I thought that this series went on for a bit too long. (13 books was too much even for me).

The Mysterious Benedict Society series tells the stories of four gifted children; Kate, Reynie, Sticky and Constance. They all respond to an add directed in the newspaper to kids only. They all feel like they have a shot and take a series of mind bending tests. They go on a secret mission to the Learning Institute for the Very Enlightened. There their friendship grows stronger and they take on challenges and learn to cheat along the way.
The Mysterious Benedict Society series is EXCELLENT!!!!!!! It draws you in and doesn’t let you go till you’ve bought all the books and read them thoroughly. The plots are really good and twist and turn leaving you wondering what’s next. The characters are relatable and really funny. I remember doing this as a book review in year six and having everyone wanting to read them by the end of my presentation!!! That’s how GOOD they are (not my public speaking).
The middle of the second book was a bit slow but apart from that there were NO faults.
This AWESOME book series is about a group of kids and their guardians that land on earth fleeing their war torn planet Lorien. They all have supernatural powers e.g healing, teleportation, glowing in the dark. Their enemy the mogadorians (enemy aliens) come to earth to try and track them down and kill them. ONLY they have to do it in order. Number one was killed, so was two and three. The book is seen through number four and later books are seen through many perspectives.
I REALLY like sci-fi books so this was a winner for me. No I don’t believe in supernatural things but having them in a book that brings them to life was amazing. Pittacus Lore is a great author and his book series are extremely detailed.
Alex Rider – Ark Angel is a book about a teenage super spy that can’t seem to stay out of trouble. When is put in a hospital from mission injuries he promises to put his spying days behind him. Little does he know that he’ll brake this promise reasonably soon.
I really enjoyed this book because it has a lot of cliffhangers and suspense. The scenes were really detailed but didn’t take to long to read.
The one thing I disliked about this book was the start. For me it was just a bit too random.
