Nerve tells the story of a girl named Vee who chooses to be a player in a dangerous game of dares and money. The game takes a twisted turn when her and five other players are directed to a secret location for loads of prizes. Suddenly they’re playing for everything or nothing, with their lives on the line.
It was very interesting and that was partly why I enjoyed it. Also, I loved the intensity of the middle section of the book. It was extremely entertaining.
I’m sorry but the movie does sound a lot better. (I haven’t watched it so I can’t say anything). Also, if it was meant to be a single book why wasn’t the ending more closed in. I didn’t really like the ending.
My Life Undecided is about a girl named Brooklyn Pierce who made a really bad decision and now puts her life into the hands of the readers of her new blog. This book has many ups and downs and Brooklyn is involved in both good and bad choices from her blog readers. Read to find out what they are.
I really liked this book because it showed decision making in a different light. This book was really original and romantic in parts.
The only thing I didn’t like was the fact that some of the bloggers decisions weren’t described in enough detail. (this is for me. so it may be different)
This AWESOME book series is about a group of kids and their guardians that land on earth fleeing their war torn planet Lorien. They all have supernatural powers e.g healing, teleportation, glowing in the dark. Their enemy the mogadorians (enemy aliens) come to earth to try and track them down and kill them. ONLY they have to do it in order. Number one was killed, so was two and three. The book is seen through number four and later books are seen through many perspectives.
I REALLY like sci-fi books so this was a winner for me. No I don’t believe in supernatural things but having them in a book that brings them to life was amazing. Pittacus Lore is a great author and his book series are extremely detailed.
Alex Rider – Ark Angel is a book about a teenage super spy that can’t seem to stay out of trouble. When is put in a hospital from mission injuries he promises to put his spying days behind him. Little does he know that he’ll brake this promise reasonably soon.
I really enjoyed this book because it has a lot of cliffhangers and suspense. The scenes were really detailed but didn’t take to long to read.
The one thing I disliked about this book was the start. For me it was just a bit too random.
